I am 44 years old. I have 3 amazing kids. My daughter is my best friend and biggest cheerleader in my life. About 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with a very rare condition that is debilitating & deadly. I was also diagnosed with a few other illnesses that are just as torturous. I am hospitalized often & I have clinically died 6 times. These totwoo bracelets allow us to stay connected in a very special way. We both have the moons, because we call each other our moon. I have it tattooed on my left arm, “And She is the Moon, Most Beautiful in Darkness.” I help a lot of people every day with hope to carry on when they want to give up. Me and my boyfriend met at work. We started bullying each other in a playful, friendly way; neither of us was thinking of it as anything more than platonic at first, but then as we would be competing playfully, I started to see how he smiled at me, and I would smile back the same. We had a competition going for weeks at work, seeing who could push the back of each other's knees in the most in one day. It was just fun at first, but then I would find myself hoping he would come over to my area of work more so we could goof off. I can remember thinking to myself, “I’m not sure what’s going on here! Do I like him?” I didn’t want to embarrass myself and say something and have him not feel the same. So I didn’t. Eventually, a few coworkers and he would invite me out with them; through that, I was getting to know him more and more。 the more we would all hang out. One night, we had hung out all together, and he took me home and made sure I got home all right. We were talking in his truck for hours, and then I started getting sleepy, so I had cuddled up with him, and eventually, we had kissed. Soon after, a month later or so, he had asked me to be his girlfriend. He is the kindest man I’ve ever met, and I’ve been so lucky to get to know him and call him mine. He’s made me the happiest I’ve been in a long time, and I can’t wait to see what our future holds for us. Recently, I’ve been going to school in a different state, and he’s still back home. Right before I left, my mom had bought us these totwoo bracelets for Christmas. We have been using them every day since I’ve been over here, and it’s like still being able to feel him from states away.

We've been married for 10 years, but when we first met, we barely knew each other. We spent just two months getting to know one another—one month chatting online and another month meeting in person. I was 19, and he was 21. At the time, we knew very little about each other, but despite that, we took the leap. Everyone around us warned that we were making a mistake, telling us it wouldn't last since we hadn’t been together long and that we'd likely end up divorced. Like any marriage, we've had our share of ups and downs, but our first year was probably the toughest. He was deployed to Kuwait, and there was a lot of distrust on his side. He would call often, accusing me of talking to "Jody" (if you're military, you know what that means).Over the years, we were blessed with our miracle baby girl, after losing two prior pregnancies. My husband and I grew closer than ever, or so I thought. But after our daughter turned 4, we faced another heartbreaking loss. We found out we were expecting another baby, only to lose her at 6 months. My husband struggled to cope, and instead of leaning on me, he withdrew. He left me to care for our daughter, heartbroken and feeling alone. He wouldn’t speak to me, kiss me, or even let me know how I could help him through the pain. Nearly a year went by, and I was done hurting—not just from the loss of our baby, but from what felt like the loss of our love and connection in our marriage.Then, he finally opened up. He apologized to me and our daughter, admitting that he didn’t know how to cope and that he had been foolish for shutting us out. In 2024, we celebrated 10 years of marriage. To mark the occasion, he gave me a Totwoo bracelet—a symbol of our connection. Mein Freund und ich sind bald knapp ein Jahr zusammen, am 23.07. Wir haben uns in einer Unterkunft, für Wohnungslose, kennen gelernt. Zunächst haben wir aneinander vorbei gelebt, bis eine damalige Freundin, mit mir zusammen zu ihm ging. Er befand sich in einer kennlernphase mit einer anderen und ich war frisch getrennt. Nach einigen Tagen kommen wir ins Gespräch und kommen gut miteinander klar, aber mehr war erstmal nicht drin. Als seine bekanntschaft, weggezogen war, kamen wir immer mehr in Kontakt und verbrachten bald jeden Tag miteinander. Ich habe mich schnell, stark mit ihm verbunden gefühlt, doch er hatte zunächst Bedenken, aber ich habe nicht aufgegeben. Eines nachts, übernachtete er freundschaftlich bei mir und wir waren uns körperlich nah gekommen, ohne Kuss. Doch in dieser Nacht, wecken mich sanft seine Lippen auf meinen. Ich war hin und weg, doch er war sich noch nicht sicher, bis seine damalige bekanntschaft, bei ihm und er gestand ihr, dass er mit mir eine Beziehung führen würde. Seid dem haben wir alles zusammen durchgestanden und leben mittlerweile in einer eigenen Wohnung.

We really wanted these bracelets because we weren’t able to see each other too often we did live in the same town, but after I moved a little over an hour away that made things even harder. Mike and I met on Facebook Dating after I had just gone through a rough break up. For a month we chatted back and forth, got to know one another before he asked to take me to lunch as a congratulations for getting a new job. Afterwards we headed back to his place and watch my favorite anime Yuri On Ice and he made my favorite meal, Chicken Alfredo. For another month we continued on as friends before taking the next step in our relationship. On New Years Eve we shared our first New Years Eve kisses (yes we both had never been kissed on New Years Eve). After that he took me on a magical trip to Duluth Minnesota, where we spent a weekend on the shores of Lake Superior, and made our relationship official. Now nearly 3 months in and I’m by far the happiest I’ve ever been. He’s by far the greatest person alive and I can honestly say that he’s the man that I will marry and share my life with. I bought the Moon and Sun necklace so that no matter how far apart we are we still have each other just a tap away. And it’s helped so much with my anxiety and depression when we’re apart.
